Gabrielle F. McCabe
Gabrielle F. McCabe graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She then attended St. Thomas University School of Law. During law school, Ms. McCabe was a student member of the Federal Bar Association and the Honorable Peter T. Fay Inn of Court, a chapter of the American Inns of Court. She was a Student Research Assistant during her second year of law school and then a summer Student Research Assistant to the Dean of the Law School.
While at St. Thomas, Ms. McCabe joined the Moot Court Team, winning an intramural moot court competition. In her third year of law school, she participated in a year long Appellate Litigation Clinic, writing an appellate brief in a criminal case and arguing the case before the Third District Court of Appeal. Ms. McCabe was ranked first in her class in law school and was the Student Speaker of her graduating law school class in May of 2019.
Ms. McCabe was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She became fluent in Spanish after moving to the Dominican Republic at age fourteen and graduating from high-school there four years later. Her dream was always to become an attorney and advocate for others in need. The summer before her third year of law school, Ms. McCabe began interning at the Baez Law Firm. That experience confirmed for her that criminal defense was the area of law that would allow her to accomplish her goal of being a voice for others as a practicing attorney.
