Central Florida Man Arrested, Charged After Fatal Crash—DUI Suspected

Valerio Sebastian Domingo, a 24-year-old man from Orlando, has been booked into the Orange County jail. He is now facing several serious criminal charges. Orlando Man Arrested After One Killed in Suspected DUI Crash 

As law enforcement representatives have confirmed to Fox 35 Orlando, a 24-year-old Orlando man named Valerio Sebastian Domingo, was arrested for DUI on the evening of August 20th. Mr. Domingo allegedly caused a crash that killed a 41-year-old woman. A preliminary investigation revealed that the crash occurred after the vehicle being driven by Mr. Domingo reportedly crossed the center line. He was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and booked into the Orange County Jail. As with any other person facing criminal charges in Florida, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. He has a right to defend himself against all criminal charges.

Mr. Domingo is facing a felony DUI causing injury case.
  • DUI Causing Death: The most serious felony criminal charge filed in this case is DUI causing death. You may sometimes hear this charge referred to as DUI manslaughter. In Florida, DUI causing death is a second degree felony criminal offense. If convicted of this crime, a defendant can face a maximum penalty of up to 15 years in state prison.
